Where We Specialize

  • Dr. Matt uses the advanced Solea Laser. One of the only practices in the Charlotte area with this leading-edge laser, Eastover Pediatric offers patients the luxury of pain free dentistry.

  • It is important to monitor teeth from baby teething through primary teeth, as they play a crucial role in dental development. We address all common dental care and issues for our young patients.

  • We have completed specialized training, which allows us to provide optimal dental care for children of all ages, including those with special needs.

Patients with special healthcare needs, behavior disorders, and mental or physical handicaps will require extra attention while visiting the dentist, so we are trained to assure parents that their special needs child will be treated with love and respect at all times while receiving the best oral healthcare available.

  • The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that the initial orthodontic evaluation should occur at the first sign of orthodontic problems or no later than age 7.

Though an orthodontist can enhance a smile at any age, there is an optimal time period to begin treatment. Beginning treatment at this time ensures the greatest result and the least amount of time and expense.

We like to see children around the age of three, unless you notice a problem or have a concern.

We generally treat patients through college, but, in many cases, our special-needs patients remain with us into adulthood.
